It was wonderful hearing from @ReadmanLuke at the @openEHR conference on @LondonUCP end of life care plans and more. Important to see how #openEHR tech is helping unify health records across ICSs .

“The sweet spot for the open bits is around the data and the data definitions.” OpenEHR’s approach is to “separate the apps from the data, store the data in common ports using the OpenEHR standards … and ask the applications to work directly on that common data.”

It’s very clear that the future of healthcare electronic health records lies in an open source @linuxfoundation front end sitting on top of a highly semantically interoperable @openEHR Data store (CDR). #openEHR . This is where the market is at. Huge ROI with this approach.

Close of a wonderful #openEHRcon24 event. A reflection: We've created a disruption, now it's up and running. There will be a lifelong patient record, independent of products and technology, for everyone. I do believe we've done some good. @openEHR
