After Day 4 of TI-2, I ran across state lines for a @POTAspots activation at K-0863 Springfield Armory in MA. I got 12 QSOs on 40m QRP CW. When there’s no table in sight, set up on the park sign. #hamradio #amateurradio #pota

Day 4 of Teachers Institute here at @arrl and today we built our Sensor Buoys. This is built on a Arduino with a Argent Data Radio Shield. It has a temp probe, and temp and pressure sensor. Communicates through APRS over a Yaesu FT-70d. #STEMeducation #hamradio

As one of the teachers at @arrl TI2, thank you so much! We spent the whole day preparing for this pass. We made tape measure Yagis, learned how to record in a @SDRPlay, and then decode using MMSSTV. Thanks to @NASAGoddard and @Space_Station sending the signal.

Day 3 of @arrl Teachers Institute 2 and we had a special gift from @ARISS_Intl @NASAGoddard sent a SSTV image to the @Space_Station for us (and everyone else). We used an @SDRPlay to rec the pass, then MMSSTV to decode. Thanks to @goodgame_K5ATA for making it happen!

Day 2 of @arrl TI2 and we learned a lot about using remote sensors with an Arduino microcontroller. I can’t wait to put the final project together which is a sensor buoy.

So excited to be apart of @arrl Teachers Institute 2 this summer and get to experience this. Thank you to the donors that make the Teachers Institutes happen. Thank you to @ARISS_Intl for making this event happen.

We're excited for tomorrow's SSTV experiment with the @ARRL Teacher's Institute just after 4 PM ET. An ARISS ground station will send the SSTV images several times to the TI students via the @Space_Station repeater. Please give way on the repeater uplink, & enjoy the download!
