As long as I live, I will never forgive Mitch McConnell for both causing irreparable damage to the Supreme Court, and not voting to convict Donald Trump.

“On instructions from the White House, the FBI did not investigate thousands of tips that came in through the FBI’s tip line”

I wrote about a new Senate report into the FBI’s investigation of Brett Kavanaugh, and how the Trump White House worked to cover up sexual assault so that they could help ban abortion. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Oh yes. They are dark horse candidates and they can win. @HuntingtonMayor Steve Williams for governor and Glenn Elliott @ElliottForWV for US Senate are the best candidates. With these two candidates you have dignity, work ethic, and compassion. Don't count them out & vote

This is Republican State Senator Mike McDonnell. He just stopped Trump’s efforts to change how Nebraska allocates its electoral votes. If successful Harris would have lost the election even if she won PA, MI, and WI. RETWEET to thank McDonnell for standing up to Donald Trump!

SCOTUS killed Roe v. Wade in the summer of 2022 and thought our anger wouldn’t last for 2 years until the presidential election. We would forget about it, get over it. — Well, the judges completely forgot that the nature of our bodies reminds us every 4 weeks.

Yes #WV, you do have a choice for US Senate. @ElliottForWV was mayor of Wheeling and made positive contributions. In his race for Senate, he's visited all 55 counties. He'll make a great senator and won't embarrass us. He has headquarters in Kan City and Wheeling. Come help

The reason Jewish people are generally pro-immigration is not some plot to replace the white race. That's idiotic. It's because Jewish people had to move around a lot for much of their history, so they naturally sympathize with people who move to new places. That's it.

Forgive me for sounding like a broken record, but Hillary Clinton was up in the polls too. We can’t fuck this up a second time. — America needs a woman president.

Every New Yorker I know is sad to see the outdoor dining sheds disappear. We should prioritize local businesses and places to gather outside over parking spots.

Kinda sad seeing all the outdoor dining structures in my neighborhood get dismantled 😪

To everyone asking "what are Harris' chances? Is it going to be close?", here's the deal: if you commit yourself to the work she will win in a landslide. If you don't, she'll lose by a little. You have agency. Don't leave anything on the field.

I told you he’s good at this.

Tim Walz continues to be very good at this

Too little too late, and for that matter, it’s too frequent that this happens with the governor. There’s a better way forward by ending Jim “Late-To-The-Fire” Justice’s career this November, and electing @ElliottForWV to the U.S. Senate. We don’t have to agree on every policy…

We know that our families are struggling when it comes to affordable care. So, I will again urge lawmakers to pass my Childcare Tax Credit. This should be a MAJOR priority for the legislature when I call them back into Special Session. We need to help our families right now.

I promise you, unlike his opponent, the more you get to know @ElliottForWV, the more you’re going to want to support his candidacy. #wvpol

We completed our 55-county ‘The Place Where We Belong Tour’ last night, but this campaign has only just begun. I will continue to travel across the state meeting with as many West Virginians as I can. But I need your help. Please consider donating if you can. Every dollar…

Everybody has their favorite Robert McFadden lead sentence but I dare you to find one better than this, from 1/1/00.

Huge news at The New York Times: After 63 years as the go-to rewrite man, lede-all maestro, and poetic obituary writer, the peerless Robert McFadden is retiring. Many times I have witnessed his artistry; the man is a legend. Great honor is due.

sad to see another legacy news organization disappear: WCBS 880 radio in NYC. Thanks to Tom Jones @Poynter for sharing anchor Wayne Cabot's final words: "With each closing newspaper, radio newsroom, TV newsroom, magazine, now even digital news operations, the country we love is…

Wait so @Tim_Walz took on another JOB (coaching middle school track and basketball) to pay off a kid’s lunch debt…and then became Governor and made school lunches free. Absolute boss.

Once again, I am begging people to now flip the switch and give to Dems down ballot. Harris has fixed the money issue at the top of the ticket. They are good. Down ballot Dems are not, and giving money to them will go further.

Unfortunate: @amandalitman tells me on the pod that state-level candidates are not getting the donor money they need. People are "throwing money" at top of the ticket and Super PACs, she says, but "downballot candidates are still struggling for resources." newrepublic.com/article/184981…
