I'd settle for a string of GF or even Finals appearances. In a sport where the current MAE is 4 or 5 goals per game, randomness will otherwise preclude talented but unlucky teams
In your mind, does dynasty require Flags or just ability?
Average age of top 10 in the B&F 28y 187d - GEEL 2011 28y 178d - HAW 2015 27y 240d - BRIS 2003 26y 55d - RICH 2020 @Richmond_FC @AFL
Hey @sirswampthing something that might be interesting. What was the average age of the top 10 in the best and fairest in the third year of the premiership between lions, cats, hawks and tigers?
They’re very good, but their ratings are nothing like any of the great teams even of this millennium. Still time though
Ta, John. There are a few things I'll look at in the offseason to see if I can squeeze a little more predictive juice out of the models.
Feeling pretty gutted right now. $1900 invested in a cats flag, returning $12,800 profit. Live price of $5 for the tigers available in Q2...I bet only $200... And I didn’t bet again for the match. TIME to return to uni and study risk assessment analysis.
Before the 2020 men's AFL season fades away, a quick thank you to @SquiggleAFL for so efficiently and effectively running the Squiggle website again this season, and for posting such interesting content Also, congrats to @AFLalytics for topping the leaderboard on Bits and MAE
The MoSHPlay Mantra: "That's not an outlier; *this* is an outlier" MoSHPlay's season will be a solid one, either way, but I realise it'll likely be most remembered by some, for better or worse, for this one final bold/loopy (delete one at 11pm tomorrow) forecast
