EBITDA is dumb. FCF is a source of funds (not normalized earnings). Focus on ROIC (not margins or other inputs).

Why is crude not going to settle at ~$60 (post-shale, pre-covid price)? Cycle -- demand sucks because China sucks (not changing fast...) Structural -- finding alternatives ex-transport (ie US oil per capita down for a while) Supply -- there's just too much oil
