And those nasty money grabbing ambushed us….just travelled the US - no problems. Used across Europe for 8 years. It will change my travelling decision making in the future #ryanair

Those nasty management people from #ryanair are at it again. Just boarded with paid for hand luggage and we were targeted for the bags to be size tested in their stand. After fitting perfectly they decided they ‘bulked’ beyond a new measure of an added yellow tail £92 thanks

#wymetro shocking service - main Harrogate to Leeds route 25 mins latecat Scarcroft. No sign of it, no update, no one to contact. Inept. #mayorofleeds #tracybabin

Just had notification my digital @thetimes is going up by 60%. Unbelievable. It would also be 60% more that the whole of the BBC licence! It shows what great value the BBC is, how arrogant The Times is. I will now be @guardian Comments? @afneil

Sunak & Hunt scrambling to fill a £40bn black hole in treasury… So remember: £9bn wasted on unusable PPE £2.6bn on items not suitable for NHS £37bn on Test & Trace that made “no measurable difference" £42bn on Brexit divorce bill £32bn on lost taxes due to Brexit trade hit

Increasing tax on energy company’s to match Norway would raise an additional £6.6bn a year until 2027, the thinktank says, making up 17% of the £40bn-a-year fiscal hole, or equivalent to annual spending on policing and fire services.@thetimes @TheEconomist @SpendingCuts

Nato is a $40tn economic bloc while Russia is a $1.7tn economy. NATO is spending 2% of its income on the military, which means whatever Russia spends, Putin doesn’t stand a chance. The only issue is commitment . Discuss

I am sick and tired of trickle-down economics. It has never worked. We're building an economy from the bottom up and middle out.

Why is the Queens cortège a Merc with free brand advert than a British vehicle ? Whoops…… it that another Brexit freedom ? #QueenElizabeth

Can anyone tell me why Merc are getting free adverts on Queens hearse ? FFS

The EU price cap on gas is £37 per mega watt hour. The UK is £263.79 per mega watt hour. A Brexit dividend for energy companies shareholders. #Brexit

One large Russian bank, Gazprombank, has not been sanctioned. That's the bank European countries use to pay for gas and oil. @radiosvoboda reports that Russian soldiers are being paid *directly* from that bank. radiosvoboda.org/a/skhemy-hazpr…

Obvs the Liz Truss cheese speech is now more iconic than Churchill’s beaches – but I still don’t think the *level* of cringe/nonsense/hilarity is appreciated enough. Most clips don’t even get to the Isaac Newton apples bit. I will simply never get over this performance.

It appears you could have held a proper wake with lots of people during lockdown if you’d designated a ‘funeral’ as a ‘leaving do’ (which is sort of technically is?)

Ten European Union member states sold €346m worth of military equipment to Moscow, evading sanctions imposed after the Kremlin’s annexation of Crimea 2014. Most came from France, Germany and Italy. Likely some of equipment being used against Ukraine.

It is beggars belief that the Govt is going to stand idly by whilst Nexperia, a Chinese-controlled company, attempts to take over Britain’s largest microchip factory (NWF). It's another example of Whitehall’s failure to think strategically when it comes to critical industries.
