anyone golf in subpraheuk lately

What is an easy way to open bags of food like this? I tried sizers and knives and almost cut my hand off.

Finally found reasonably priced Brussel Sprouts. THB 100 for a small package is OK. Thais can't agree on the word though. some say กะหล่ำดาว and others say บรัสเซลส์ แตก. I say mini-cabbage and everyone understands. Happy Thanksgiving.

A bowl of Kuay Tiew a day keeps the doctor at bay and a couple of fish balls help too.

Has anyone found any good new pizzerias in Bangkok lately?

What going on at street level today? Great time to be outside.

North Korean Restaurants in Bangkok?

Nothing like a little พริกป่น on today's brekkie.

Does anyone know the name of this dish? The Thai people here just call it "soup". It's one of the few common Thai dishes that Don't use any chili peppers but is still delicious and nourishing.

Lunch today, homemade omelet with green onion, cheese, and mushrooms with two slices of fresh sourdough toast. Home is sometimes better than any restaurant or delivery.

Thailand's breakfast of champions. Add boiling water, fried shallots, dried red chili flakes, cilantro, and green onions and you have a meal good for the day.

My Thai rice noodle soup (ก๋วยเตี๋ยว) for breakfast from a local pushcart seller price just shot up from THB 30 to THB 35 (16% increase). I guess it doesn't matter much as it's still only around USD 1.

Ian do you have any dinner suggestions?

New York pizza in Bangkok, double cheese, double sausage, double mushrooms. By far the best pie in 20 years here. Easy direct ordering system is a big plus over delivery apps too. Here we come Big Apple.

We need to get in with life;

You got to love this. Only in Thailand is sugar so sweet.

Today's breakfast: Rice soup with minced port, local Brussel sprouts (กะหล่ำดาว), soft boiled egg, green onion, fish sauce, and chili pepper. All in for a whopping US $1.50.

Today's breakfast of champions. Thai wanton soup with BBQ pork, radish, bok choy, and dried red chili pepper. Only $1 from my local pushcart vendor.

looking to meet others in the sandbox for dinner. My family arrived today and I join them tomorrow.

The term Sukhumvit Sandbox is being hinted at by among some it the know. It might be one way to reset Bangkok in October. Most everyone in that part of town is vaccinated, so bringing in doubly vaccinated tourists to enjoy again is safe and a first start. Silom and Khaosan next.
