one interesting thing about The Other Place is the speed at which it suggests I might want to follow people I spent quite some time exorcising my timeline of here

Just discovered that the title track from Ziggy Stardust sounds brilliant if you sing it in a Noel Coward style. As does the entire album, in fact.

Lots of people posting some of the graun's greatest hits, and yet unaccountably this stone-cold classic has yet to feature

I hope it won't seem trivial if I say that this is an absolutely fantastic look- especially the rating's turban with ribbon.

You know when you get all those stories about how children can't play conkers any more unless they wear safety glasses? And we all harrumph about in my day?Sometimes I think occupational health and safety is a good thing.

here’s pete hegseth, fox news host and trump’s pick for secretary of defense, nearly killing a drummer with an axe on live TV

"Does Mr Shakespeare REALLY think it acceptable to murder one's wife on no more evidence than a few whispered insinuations and a dropped handkerchief?"

I see that fresh from "Rivals was problematic because of 80s" we're now onto "Henry VIII was problematic because reasons", & doubtless will soon have "Day of The Jackal is problematic because killing is bad, ACTUALLY" and may never reach "ah, sod it, just enjoy some great telly"

Apparently cats domesticated *themselves* (around 10,000 years ago). Pretty sure foxes are now doing the same thing
