This thread exactly. It has been very disheartening to see all the comments out there displaying a staggeringly ignorant view of how our government works. I get that some of it is frustration and snark, but a lot of the comments seem to reflect deeper issues than that.

It’s clear polling wrong enough in a couple of states that it’s going to be close. AND, because of mail turnout, we won’t know for at least a few days, maybe a week I suspect. I’m sure everyone will handle it well and stay calm, especially our President.
