Random thoughts. For all that insist benzos alone cause respiratory depression in high doses...why aren't the benzos used for executions as single agents like thio- or pentobarbital used to be used. I mean we can get benzos in the US still.

Casual thought. When a speaker at a professional meeting in a Pro/Con debate format states that their drug/test/procedure is the "approved" (by whom/whatever), all they are doing is undermining their credibility as the expert trying to help us with the nuances of the questions

I would caution folks too, that the financial "costs" of Midyear are not the reall financial issue. Is a residency "worth" the associated costs and expenses? I believe so but can't prove it. And please don't use the monetary costs only argument
