The Commissioner of NCRI, @Safiamseed, convened a meeting with the Commission’s senior management at NCRI offices today. The discussion focused on short-term priorities fulfillment aligned with the broader implementation of the NCRI 2025-2029 Strategic Plan.
NCRI, in collaboration with @UNHCRSom conducted a joint field visit to assess the situation of IDPs in Dayniile District yesterday. The visit focused on evaluating the quality of support and identifying specific needs through focus studies and other similar exercises.

(1/2) Today, NCRI Commissioner @safiamseed was at the Commission’s premises in Mogadishu to observe the conclusion of a registration exercise for over 600 refugee families from Yemen.
(2/2) Opening the training session, NCRI Commissioner @safiamseed offered words of support to staff members participating in this initiative. She emphasized the importance of the new Displacement E-Registry platform for both NCRI and the displaced populations it supports.
(1/2) NCRI conducted a digital registration systems training for its staff today. Chaired by Ms. Khatra Bishar Mohamed, Director of the Registration Department, the session introduced NCRI’s new Displacement E-Registry platform.

Commissioner @SafiaMSeed thanked NCRI's valued partners for their support in completing the strategy. She highlighted NCRI’s achievements, including the passage of the 2023 Refugee Law & emphasized the need for continued collaboration to ensure further progress.
A presentation of the objectives and other key components of the Strategic Plan was delivered to participants, outlining the requirements needed to ensure its successful implementation.
(1/2) Commissioner @safiamseed chaired the monthly Communication for Stabilization Taskforce meeting held at NCRI’s offices today. This Taskforce, which brings together communications heads from different government agencies is aimed at unifying FGS’s stabilization messaging.
The meeting was attended by the Commissioner of the Jubbaland Commisison for Refugees and IDPs, Mr. Ali Aden Ali alongside high-level representatives from the Jubbaland State Government. The insights shared will play a pivotal role in shaping the National Strategy. (2/2)
