Good ventilation at Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ontario.
It makes zero sense to take an existing term that works perfectly (airborne) and make it more complex. I feel bad criticizing many people's hard work. But at this point, I am disappointed in @WHO who are specifically charged with helping the world in terms of public health.
Thank you. I just want humane change. No patient should have to fight for safe healthcare or justify why they think they deserve it.
Imagine if instead of making COVID isolation guidelines as weak as the flu... We approved combo rapid tests and made them free and available for everyone... So that people could tell how long they need to isolate based on science and not feelings, whatever the pathogen.
We need to keep respirators in ALL medical facilities. RT and share if you agree 👇🏼

The Ontario opposition NDP bill, Improving Air Quality for Our Children Act, is a good start. The Act calls for measuring & reporting indoor air quality levels in schools, mandatory installation of CO2 monitors in all classrooms, and the development of an air quality action plan.
We know that improved air quality in our schools and childcare spaces helps our kids perform better and stay healthy. It is time the government starts listening to the experts and take real action towards improving air quality standards in Ontario. windsorstar.com/opinion/letter…

1/ Kudos to Matthew Oliver, Mark Ungrin, & Joe Vipond. It's an opinion piece, but rooted in logic and truth. For an airborne infectious disease you lower inhalation dose & the ways to do so don't require empirical RCTs. Basic engineering science will do. scientificamerican.com/article/masks-…
