Geography is half of all education ..& stands out as the one true science..Whereas literature deepens a child’s consciousness in relation to others, geography externalises that consciousness to the physical and social environment. It makes the outside world make sense - S Jenkins

We're aware that there's a major event happening right now & it's only right that, as a British company, we make reference to it. There are some amazing savings on kettles in our biggest ever Black Friday sale. There. We said it. Now let's all sit down and have a cup of tea.

8/10 on quiz of the day! Failed on thrift shop and turning Japanese.

#farm24 is here! #farm24 is the agricultural industry’s biggest online event with an audience reach of more than 112 million. The aim is to show YOU the consumer the vast extent of the effort and care which goes into producing the food they eat. Please do become part of this…

Seeing a bit of chat about nicknames today. When I worked in an office in the early 90s, there was a bloke we all called Big Ted. His name wasn’t Ted and we wasn’t particularly big, it’s just that his desk was right by a round window.

Scored 8/10 in today's quiz of the day. #quizoftheday. Errors on hut fuzz and Tin name.

Standing on Redhill station platform this morning and the mist hanging around smells like it has come up the rails from the coast. Salty..

Tite & Locke - probably the best station pub in the UK. PS. I might be slightly biased #Lancaster @LancasterBrew

Bad start to the day. First train was cancelled, now we are late into Victoria.

Multiple guess got me 9/10 in quiz of the day today! I'm astounded!

So this is happening tomorrow and we've not had a great deal of promotion from others - so would really appreciate a RT for this. Thanks so much. Hope to see you there! @BBCNWT @CumbriaCrack @CumbrianNicola @cumbriawildlife @FriendsofLakes @lakedistrictnpa @KendalMuseum

Can you #help please? My elderly parents have gone missing in #Venice They got separated & my dad (with Alzheimer’s) has both their phones. They didn’t arrive back at the pick up point & no one knows where they are. They’re called Bronwen and Stan. Please share!
