Broadcasts (mostly national/non-local) for months have questioned “why haven’t they removed the interim tag yet?!” This was surely always the goal, it the team needed to formally/legally move on from Ime first. Seems like that has now happened, clearing the way for the move.
I assume Boston has reached some form of agreement with Ime Udoka that separates the two sides. Udoka was never going to coach the Celtics again, but the announcement of Joe Mazzulla being named head coach makes it likely Udoka and Boston reached terms on a parting of the ways.
Celtics go into All Star break with best record in NBA, unreal chemistry (Blake has been 🤯), and are gonna be on a 2nd half mission. I can’t believe we have to wait a week to watch these guys again 😢

I went by Shaquille my whole life and I understand that it’ll be a hard change to be called Shaquille after being called Darius for 4 years. It’s not a huge deal and it wouldn’t be no hard feelings if you called me Darius. Shaquille is my middle name that I’ve went by since 95.
