Or, here's an idea, we get to go wherever we like whenever we like, just like non-disabled people, and people treat as well without having to have prior notice of our arrival?!

1 thing hard abt living in a nation where #AssistedSuicide is legal. It 💯undermines Suicide Prevention in principle & practice. As a disabled person I can no longer call MH crisis lines. Not unless I *again* want MH worker to suggest or agree my death would be a rational or good
This is why disabled people are terrified of assisted dying. Because so many non-disabled people would rather be dead than be us. That we’re better off dead than supported by hard working tax payers. This is why the bill can’t pass. Because they’ll come for us. Mark my words.
They are using their case and concerns to try and stop it for everyone. Not convinced it’s moral for me to pay taxes to support the disabled when if I ever find myself in that situation I would rush to end it. Different systems for different moralities needed.

The criticism to this comment is misplaced. If euthanasia is decriminalized, nurses will still get in trouble for saying to a patient that they should be “taken to the vet”. What they won’t get in trouble is asking if their patient would benefit from an “assisted death”
