Whilst the USA 🇺🇸 doesn’t have a “no first use” policy in its recent updated Nuclear posture it adheres to the following: 1) Deter strategic attacks 2) Assure allies and partners 3) Achieve the US objectives if deterrence fails—so that the U.S. is capable of providing deterrence.
