Mallow Gardaí carried out a multiagency checkpoint with out colleagues from @RSAIreland on the N72 yesterday. This lorry was stopped and found to have several tyres in very poor condition. Their journey was halted until remains were made. #SaferRoads

Santry Gardaí were on patrol recently when they stopped this car after the Mobility App alerted them that it had no insurance. It was subsequently found that the driver had been disqualified from driving. The car was seized and court is to follow. #SaferRoads

Santry Gardaí were on patrol yesterday when they saw the driver of this HGV using their phone while driving. They were stopped and the driver was issued a €160 fine and three penalty points Motorists are asked to be considerate of other road users and to not use their phones.

Our Roads Policing Unit in South Dublin initially stopped this car along Aghfarrelll Road because they'd no headlights on. When pulled in, it quickly became apparent that the driver was under the influence. They failed both a roadside drug and an alcohol test. #SaferRoads
