A supermajority of GSEU at Large members voted this week to pass this resolution—drafted in conjunction with our colleagues across the Education Division of CWA 1104—to call for an immediate ceasefire and deescalation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

@SenatorLeaWebb joins with UUP Binghamton Chapter and members of @GSEU_Bing and @CSEA_Region5 in support of our Union brothers and sisters at SUNY Potsdam where a drastic financial restructuring plan includes the deactivation of 14 degree programs.
It’s ashame that rather than following UAlbany, @UBuffalo is digging its heels in & whining that they can’t afford to fund grad workers’ fees in advance of the state’s $3M allocation to SUNY (funding specially from our fee bill victory)
📢GSEU has received confirmation that ALL 650+ Albany graduate workers will now be keeping their earnings! We will no longer pay the university 15% of our paychecks in fees!! UAlbany's pay-to-work #WageTheft scheme has been defeated!!! 😎🎉
