Results of our GMRx2 trial has been published today in @TheLancet ! We showed how a novel low-dose triple single-pill combination led to clinically meaningful blood pressure reductions compared to dual combinations and was well tolerated. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

The win ratio is often used in clinical trials with hierarchical composite endpoints, but with little attention to its estimand. @LuMaoWisc makes a case for defining the estimand as a first step to analysis and explains how. #WinRatio #Estimand @SCTorg

I'm thrilled to announce two publications (ohh yesss, using Bayesian Meta Analysis) out on the same day! 1️⃣ In JAMA: jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/… 2️⃣ In NEJMe: evidence.nejm.org/doi/full/10.10… Great collaborative efforts!

Very sad to learn that Daniel Kahneman passed away today. One of his goals was to make people more intuitive statisticians

Why do most head-to-head meta-analyses use classic/frequentist methods, when standard NMAs are Bayesian? What can we do to increase the uptake of Bayesian meta-analyses? We'll try to answer to these and other many burning questions!

Bayesian methods have seen a rising application in many areas of biomedical research, but despite their advantages, their utilisation in meta-analysis remains scarce. Read protocol, 'Bayesian approach for meta-analyses in biomedical research.👇 journals.lww.com/jbisrir/fullte… #JBIScoping

Causal inference isn't some bag of tricks to be applied that magically yield a causal estimate from observational data. It's framework for expressing assumptions that if satisfied may lead you to a valid answer. Virtually all of those assumptions are fundamentally untestable.

Surprising Discovery 🔍 In 20,995 participants, less sodium & more potassium didn't reduce headache. But, a big sodium drop reducing blood pressure might help. Dive into the fascinating details! #HeadacheRelief #headache Read our recent published trial. zurl.co/rlwX
