The new executive director is canceling the strategic planning process launched by the interim, which was an update to the former ED’s plan, so that he can commence on his own process with a consultant of his own choosing.
I was shocked as well. Until I figured out that he had just literally NEVER CHECKED EMAIL bc, “I thought if they were interested they would text me.” 8 weeks of interview requests just sitting in his inbox, unanswered.
Parents right now are shocked when their kid comes home from college, applies to 300 jobs, doesn’t get a single interview, and then proceeds to give up on life. I dunno, I feel like that’s kind of a rational response? Did Boomers come home from college and face that?
