While rejoicing the independence day, don't forget being grateful to Allah (SWT) for this great blessing and doing some self reflection. Have a blessed Independence Day.
The root cause for all of our personal, social and economic issues is our inability and failure to adhere to and upholding these principles. May our hearts be filled with the divine light and may our actions be guided by these principles. Happy Eid al-Adha! (3of3)
Key points: 1) respect for human life, dignity & property, 2) unity & brotherhood, 3) eliminating racism & ensuring equality, 4) economic & social justice, 5) honoring women's rights, 6) protecting one's faith from evil, and 7) upholding Quran & sunnah, in daily lives. (2of3)
Although, Eid-ul-Adha is generally remembered as the Eid of Sacrifice, marking the Sunnah of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS), the greatest social code given by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at Arafat on 9th Dhul Hajj, is of extreme significance, and integral part of it. (1of3)
May Allah accept our good deeds and forgive us for our misdeeds. May we continue carrying out all the good deeds of the month of Ramdahan, in our lives ahead and may our listening and learnings of Quran translate in to tangible and permanent actions. Have a blessed Eid.
A key objective of Ramadhan is to strengthen Taqwa, and doing good and refraining from all evils. May Allah SWT give us whatever is required to do justice to this month and gather the countless blessings of Allah. May this be a life-changing and soul-enriching experience for us.
Take some time to revisit it and let's commit to change from the inside out.
Twenty-five years ago, on 14th August 1998, we prepared a Poem (attached), at the launch ceremony of Pakistan Vision-2010. This poem described the state of affairs as well as what needed to be changed. Unfortunately, instead of progressing, we have further drifted away....
Let's not forget the misery that surrounds all those nations, who have been deprived of this greatest blessing. Like all blessings, it also brings with it some obligations. It is our foremost obligation to serve, honor, love, protect, and nurture this motherland and its interests
Independence is one of the greatest blessings of Allah, and through our motherland Pakistan, Allah has blessed us with it and given us a unique identity. It is this motherland that has made us who we are today......(1of3)
Let’s not forget that personal sacrifice is the largest trial of the faith….and all those who gave up their belongings, relationships, or lives for the sake of Allah (SWT), have a very high rank with Allah (SWT) and must be honored and remembered in this world too.
....Understanding that our lives as well as every material or non-material thing or relationship in life is an “amanat” of Allah (SWT), and we must be willing to sacrifice any or all, for the sake of the ONE, who blessed us with those, at the first place....(2of3)
On this Eid-ul-Adha, let’s revisit an important lesson that Allah (SWT) taught us through the Abrahamic tradition of Sacrifice….the law of detachment......(1of3)
May Allah accept your fasting and all the good deeds of Ramadan. Have a blessed Eid. Let's not forget to include poverty striken people in our festivities and let's pray to Allah to keep our beloved country safe from all the internal and external challenges and evils.
....and don't forget to pray for the Ummah and specially for our beloved motherland of its protection from all the evils and threats, internal as well as external, and its stability and prosperity. Have a Blessed Ramadan.
... showing gratitude, and pleading to and pleasing Allah (SWT) and praying for all be blessings for the year ahead. Let's not waste a singe second and give ourselves a complete physical, emotional, mental and spiritual overhaul.......
.......Ramadan is a month for Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual detoxification and rejuvenation. It is a month to get all the negative energies out and come out as a new person. It is a month to seek forgiveness, forgive others, ..
.....and in this blessed month of Ramadan, is a very special night, the Laylatul Qadr, a night in which every act is counted as having performed consistently for 1000 months........
Ramadan is a gift to Muslims, from Allah (SWT), a month full of blessings, a month in which the Quran was revealed, a month in which every act is rewarded seventy (70) times.
There is no better way to show our love and allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), than following his sunnah. On this day, commit to read about and follow the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W).
