As a novice in the ageing research field, this sums up exactly my impression of the state of the art . We can easily accelerate ageing with modern unhealthy lifestyles, but it seems uncertain if we can slow down ageing significantly for anyone who lives already healthily

Are longevity interventions just resetting us back to the wild type? Exercise, balanced diet, etc., are these just reverting us to past healthy habits? Longevity interventions may be just removing modern life age accelerants like obesity, sedentarism, smoking, and poor sleep.
