We’re asking for information on the chemicals 6PPD and 6PPD-quinone. Used in tires for over 60 years, 6PPD transforms into 6PPD-quinone when exposed to ozone. This can be toxic to many aquatic species when stormwater carries it from roadways to waterways. spgv.io/6011BRD

Another week, more #DroughtMonitor records (even w/ the recent precip) 49 states have some drought, a #DroughtMonitor record 87.8% of the Lower 48 and 73.6% of the US are Abnormally Dry or in drought. Both just over last week's records (87.2%/73.2%) drought.gov @NOAA
