Introducing a physically realistic, reduced complexity 2D box model that uses dynamic formulations to generate predictions comparable to a 3D hydrodynamic model (drawing from the works of Gillibrand et al., 2013 and Lake & Brush 2015ab, and others). Stay tuned for more info!

Had a blast at @CERFScience in Portland OR! It was so exciting to share my work and learn from other coastal scientists. If you missed my poster "Comparing York River model performance across a multi-model assemblage", check it out on the CERF 2023 virtual platform :)

Providing demographic data for NSF: Actually, I do wish to provide my gender, but your survey does not include nonbinary scientists. You are not accurately assessing diversity when you erase queer and transgender scientists. @ISNBS_ #QueerinSTEM

""And so, where I come down is to try to ensure that if we're going to lose all that forest, that we at least get something in return. And that's the marshes." @VIMS_News @Salty_Serina

Acres of forest land in the U.S. is drowning from rising sea levels, creating one of the most striking indicators of climate change: ghost forests. One scientist, who says the phenomenon is inevitable, is now working to ensure the marshes left behind offer some benefits.
