being creative is hard because making something thats not good is painful and it takes a lot of making things that arent good in order to make something that is good and not everyone can handle that process mentally 😵💫
On September 25th, I was picked up by the state. After being detained for over 11 days, which cost me my job and school scholarship, the state this afternoon decided to withdraw the trumped up charges against me.
in fact it gets worse because the scolding leads to a narrowing of awareness rather than an expansion, it’s hard to learn anything if one is flinching from mistakes. to improve the approach you have to be curious and it’s hard to be curious when getting scolded
recurring pattern I’ve seen in both others and myself 1. try to do stuff 2. approach it badly 3. scold self for (2) instead of trying to improve the approach 4. approach remains bad so stuff doesn’t get done repeat loop
