I am extremely excited to share my poster at #ISTH2020 Successful Use of Immunotherapy in the Management of Cancer in Patients with Hemophilia B 3 patients who, to my knowledge, are the first to receive immunotherapy in this patient population. academy.isth.org/isth/2020/mila…

I'm not going to get excited yet but that's bananas.

This post is unavailable.

I'm trying to figure out what to eat for dinner tomorrow night, gin or whisky?

#medicine #radiology #patients. Can we all agree that accessing your radiology results online the same day is more anxiety provoking to the patients. There is no physician around that can address these results right away.

I’m voting for Harris/Walz to keep Trump out. Netanyahu, Elon Musk, and Miriam Adelson are eager for Trump’s return, convinced he’ll give them more power than Harris. I believe they’re right.

I will continue to work with concerned colleagues to make leaders in medicine as well as professional organizations aware of the burdens of ABIM MOC and the need to approve alternative certifications like @InfoNbpas and not make all of us tied to one specific private organization

David Hedrick he/him Reposted

I resent ABIM LKA and MOC in principle because I don’t learn from them, find no value, and they do not test what I need to know for practice. CME and meeting the requirements to meeting legally required state and federal license is sufficient.

Last week I deactivated my ABIM Oncology and Internal Medicine Certificates. I worked hard for years to get them. But I cannot support useless MOC exams to maintain them, a waste of my precious time and money. I’ll maintain Hematology certificate for now, because it’s required

Dr. Lawrence Einhorn’s 1974 breakthrough at Indiana University raised testicular cancer survival rates from 5% to 80%, and today, more than 95% of patients are cured through surgery or chemotherapy regimens pioneered at IU. His discovery revolutionized cancer treatment worldwide,…

I see.. I am a 5th generation farm family, teacher, sch supt, business woman, State Supt of Public Instruction, wife and mom. I have been a public servant for 30 years. And… My opponent is calling me “the Jezebel spirit." Ladies- we deserve better than this.

Micah Beckwith, a Christian nationalist pastor who is the GOP nominee for lieutenant governor in Indiana, says Indiana residents face a choice between "godly boldness" and "the Jezebel spirit."

Yes. I’ve seen the ad. No. I don’t care what type of stove you use. I am focusing on real issues like women’s reproductive freedoms, education and good paying jobs. My opponent is apparently focused on stoves. See you on the debate stage. Enough nonsense! Let’s go!

It really is something on the level of a miracle. I think all docs who train at IU with Dr. Einhorn @IUCancerCenter have a little bit more confidence in the idea that data, experience, and hope might just come up with a miracle. news.iu.edu/live/news/3790…

You know what helps treat patients with cancer? Encouraging them to eat whatever makes them feel better. Because cancer treatment sucks, you might as well have a milkshake.

Idk who needs to hear this but ivermectin and dehydration don’t treat cancer. Neither does avoiding sugar. Neither does alkaline water. The best thing to do if you’re worried about cancer is to get regular screenings and follow actual treatment recommendations

I'd love to not fly. I hate airports, flying, turbulence, etc. But this, for a family of 4, one way... is embarrassing.

Interesting question of Adam Cuker to Niamh why patients with VWD at later age increases the VWF but still bleeds? Could be that we need more VWF at later age or people with VWDtype 1 has additional deficiency as well#Zagreb #ISTH workshop
