If you are the person in the video, or person taking the video, the smart thing to do now: 1. Walk in to any police station unarmed and speak to investigators. 2. Make it a lesson learned and move forward from there

The El Paso Police Department is aware of a viral video that shows an individual discharge a weapon from a moving vehicle. We are looking into the incident.

We’re with you. 💪🏼💙

Read and heed: DASO can also confirm this is totally untrue. Please be careful what you share/send/post.

There is absolutely no truth to the spreading social media comments of a serial killer on the loose. There are no kidnappings or serial killings occurring. These reports/comments/post are absurd. Consider the source and credibility or lack thereof.

Earlier today, sailors from the USS New Mexico posted American flags along Memorial Way in Kittery, Maine. On this #MemorialDay, we join them in remembering and honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great nation.

ROAD CLOSED: Extreme winds, blowing dust and limited visibility have forced a portion of Doña Ana Road to be closed Wednesday. The closure is in effect between Harvey Farms Road and Alvillar Road. It is unknown how long the closure will be in effect.

Last week, Sheriff Stewart met with Rue Stone, general manager at Vado Speedway Park. Stone gave the sheriff an update on construction of the park, tentatively scheduled to open mid-April. Big changes slated for Vado!
