As revered as it is, I still don't think BCS quite gets its flowers in terms of how it handles being both a prequel AND a sequel to Breaking Bad. I've never seen another show weaponize what we know to instill tension in what we don't know, and make us root against the inevitable.

Occasionally, I think the extended sequence in “Oppenheimer” that is just one meeting about like five other meetings. And the ninety minutes between Damon being asked if he’d clear Oppenheimer again and Damon eventually responding. And it’s gripping. Masterful editing.

Have you seen The Fall Guy? It’s a lot of fun. Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt are great together, lithely pivoting from drama to romance to comedy and back. Worth the watch.
