New SR and MA 46 RCTs (n=8765) on effectiveness of tx for acute/subacute mechanical LBP. For pain & disability, efficacious interventions at 1 week were heat, manual therapy (MT), exercise, NSAIDS & opioids. At 1 month, most efficacious treatment was MT. bjsm.bmj.com/content/early/…

Yes. PT is an eclectic practice. Advocacy is our fire dept and rescue that must be current on the issue, have expertise and has strength in numbers always on call and willing to help. I think we need a bill to stop carpenters from using a Stillson wrench.😊
