In the letter,the NCDC boss pointed out that despite the excellent result,some gaps were identified.A workplan has been instituted to address these gaps. Dr.@Chikwe_I emphasized that NCDC's role is to provide technical support to strengthen IPC and the quality of patient care.
Based on the overall score achieved in the eight sections, the facility is assigned to one of four levels of IPC promotion and practice, with Advanced being the highest level attainable.

#8. *Myth: Do not rush a #stroke patient to the emergency ward. Wait for a few days so that they do not inject him with drugs. *Reality: #Stroke patients who present early have the best chance of complete recovery
#9. *Myth: Nobody recovers from #Stroke *Reality: Many patients that were expertly treated fully recovered.
#10. *Myth: After they discharge a patient with #stroke, he should go home and never return to the #hospital again as he has no business there anymore. *Reality: All #stroke survivors must be followed up in the #stroke #outpatient by doctors to prevent a repeat #stroke.
