“It's just the reassurance of knowing that it's a choice for you if you choose to take it.” Thank you @kimleadbeater for speaking with Christie. For people like Christie, having the option of assisted dying would mean making the most of the time they have now. #YesToDignity

Hi all my fellow MBCers, do you know what terminally ill looks like? @thankscancer

Pollster Prof Sir John Curtice tells #r4today that there have been big majorities for the principle of #AssistedDying for the last 40 years. Hard to think of any other issue on which Parliament has for so long denied the will of the people .

Thank you to all the signatories on this excellent letter which has been published in the Observer this morning. It includes the former Lord Chancellor, two former DPPs, many KCs and senior legal professionals #AssistedDying #AssistedDyingBill #LetUsChoose

Three quarters of Brits support assisted dying law according to a new @YouGov poll. This is an important statistic for MPs to reflect on ahead of the vote on assisted dying on 29 November. #AssistedDyingBill

"And the people in the middle of this problem are patients. They will die due to this decision and that is unacceptable." Our friends at @METUPUKorg respond to this week's heart-breaking news on #Enhertu.

We are utterly devastated that NICE, NHS England, Daiichi Sankyo and AstraZeneca have failed to come to a commercial agreement to bring #Enhertu into the NHS for patients with HER2-low metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Patients will continue to be unable to access Enhertu, a drug…

‘I don’t have any more time to waste’ - Belfast woman’s heart-breaking plea to Stormont to save women’s lives irishnews.com/news/northern-… My call to action is for every person in #NorthernIreland to sign this open letter & recognise signs/symptoms of #ovariancancer #Awareness 💙

Got back home to a cup of tea and of course Lenny the dog (other beings were present too). He’d clearly missed me and laid his quite sizeable body on mine, digging his elbows in all the while. We don’t deserve dogs.

On a train, I’m sure people come to sit next to me just to sneeze. Oh & I wish the guard didn’t have so much to say for himself. Can you tell I’m tired and need to be home?

Hospice care seems to be drying up in the UK. Local hospice is making 10 people redundant. @Keir_Starmer -are we being left to die alone?

Yes it’s not so easy over on the other site. I’ll use both for now.

I don't think I have the time or energy to start over on a new site. Looks like I'm going down with the ship 😢 My cancer community is here and I don't want to lose that. Sad to see so many friends leave

Watching Mark Stibbe on #Newsnight... his personal testimony of abuse by John Smyth is horrifying and heartbreaking. The scale and severity of Smyth's crimes, and the shameful failure to hold him to account when survivors first came forward, simply beggars belief. #WelbyResign

Feeling sad. So many of my MBC sisters dying after a good run of 2 or 3 years in good health, then boom, they die. Just needed to say this somewhere @ThanksCancer
