Following the attack in Sumy, #Ukraine, 89 people have been injured and 11 dead (including children). @RedCrossUkraine volunteers are providing critical support. Teams are offering first aid, psychological care, and transport. A mobile heating unit is operational 24/7.

Yesterday, an airstrike hit a 9-story building in #Kharkiv. Dedicated @RedCrossUkraine volunteers are on the ground supporting local communities. Teams have set up relief stations with essentials - providing first aid, psychological support and rescuing trapped residents.

Floods have hit Czechia hard. 70-80% of Krnov is underwater, with 17,000 people affected. 300+ Czech Red Cross volunteers and staff are on the ground, evacuating families, delivering food, water and providing emotional support. Our colleagues are doing everything they can.

Recently, @RedCrossArmenia and @ifrc delivered stationery to children at a border school in Gegharkunik, Armenia. There are 5 children, each with big dreams - one wants to be a doctor, another can't choose between singing and football. Now, they have what they need to dream big!

Yesterday, 336 survivors rescued by the Ocean Viking disembarked in Ancona, Italy. While we are relieved that they finally reached a place of safety, we remember 60 people who died along the way and all of those who disappeared without a trace in the Mediterranean.
