Trump has now reaffirmed his plan to eliminate the U.S. Department of Education. For the record that department funds, among other things, all the special education and special needs program in public schools and public colleges in all 50 states.


Short lines to vote today. Get out there and do it. 40.81% is a bummer of a turn out with our Elected School Board on the ballot.

Chicago Voter Turnout as of 9:00am on Election Day, 11/5/24: 611,762 total ballots cast (includes Early Voting and Previously Processed Vote By Mail) 1,498,873 active registered voters in Chicago 40.81% citywide turnout so far
