Israel is blocking aid into Gaza and starving Palestinians while continuing to receive US-made weapons paid for by our tax dollars. The White House is failing to do what US law requires, and what the majority of Americans want: Stop sending weapons to Israel.

Just adding that I personally know some of the leaders of @uncommittedmvmt โ theyโre principled activists who devoted real energy trying to push Harris on Gaza. They didnโt succeed, so their strategy isnโt above criticism, but their motivations are beyond reproach.
I know a lot of us are bitter, disgusted & infuriated over a year of Israel's genocide in Gaza and US support for it. If there were a compelling case that voting a particular way in November would put an end to this genocide, then we should fight/pressure/shame everyone to voteโฆ
Honestly if you see someone attacking @uncommittedmvmt - one of the most strategic efforts I've ever seen, from organizers of unbelievable integrity - literally just ignore them, like forever. That's a toxic person who's not interested in making the world a better place.
Grateful for the uncommitted movement and all its work. We have so much work to do and conspiracy theories and ridiculous take downs donโt make any of it easier.

Weird how the US policy of imposing zero consequences for anything the Israeli government does only seems to produce worse and worse behavior.

Even more offensive given that the โsemesterโ is just something the admin made up. The law requires suspending military aid as soon as they are aware that humanitarian aid is being restricted, which they clearly are. The 30 days is just a way to continue not to enforce the law.

Slanderously portraying comrades with whom one has strategic differences as controlled opposition obeying commands of powerful forces, engaged in subterfuge and betrayal: this is a very bad, toxic thing thatโs happening on the anti-imperialist left and itโs a gift to our enemies.
Uncommitted was always clearly within the confines of the Democratic Party. If you disagree with the tactics and/ or simply dislike the people running it, you can just say that. You donโt need to create a conspiracy about it.
The intensity of the pushback against voting uncommitted is bizarre. This push is still within the confines of ultimately not messing with Bidenโs chances in Novemberโฆitโs a way of registering dissent while keeping people engaged in the voting process. Itโs feedback, take it.
