MPV. Pass it on. (The term…. not the infection of course.)

We're calling on @WHO to act immediately to rename the “monkeypox” virus. We have a growing concern for the potentially stigmatizing effects that the messaging around the “monkeypox” virus can have on vulnerable communities. Read our letter: on.nyc.gov/3Oza1k8

Everyone knows Harriett Tubman as an African American that had a central role in shaping US history. Not everyone knows that she was also a nurse. nursing.virginia.edu/news/flashback…

Real long-term effects of of Covid in kids (MIS-C) > Hypothetical “unknown” and unlikely long-term side effects of Pfizer vaccine (??) Get your kids vaccinated.

💡NEW—Vaccine efficacy 91% of 2 Pfizer shots protecting against pediatric multi system inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) in teens age 12-18. 📌Huge—this was a major severe outcome of #COVID19 in kids before. This is a reminder kids need 2 shots. #GetVaccinated cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/7…

Addressing global vaccination is the single most important, but understated fact, in dealing with covid. Mild symptoms yet high transmissibility of omicron can be considered to be a fortune warning. What would it be like if omicron wasn’t mild?

I agree people are fed up, but covid won’t end until the world’s low income countries get vaccinated to prevent new variants. Our failure to vaccinate enabled delta-India, omicron-Africa. More to come unless we vaccinate globally. Our @TexasChildrens vaccine is essential for this

Giving first doses is one of my favorite parts of my day. No judgement from me. Just compassion and honest answers.

It’s not too late to get your first COVID-19 vaccination. No questions will be asked nor eyebrows raised. Ask us any questions you have. I can assure you you are not wasting our time. We can’t wait to see you!

Holding us accountable as the most trusted healthcare professionals. 💪🏼 Nurses are urged to recognize that dissemination of misinformation not only jeopardizes the health & well-being of the public but may place their license & career in jeopardy as well. ncsbn.org/16370.htm

We are amid the outcome for prioritizing funding STEM but not Public Health. We’ve developed an incredible solution for a global problem but not the attitudes to support it. I’ve been vaccinating for 10 months. I see it everyday.

Janssen, Moderna, or Pfizer? The best choice is the one you can get as soon as possible. We are getting there!!

Breaking News: Fully vaccinated people can have small gatherings indoors with other vaccinated people but should continue to wear masks in public, the CDC said. nyti.ms/3t1eCB2

Vaccinate NY! This is cross sector collaboration at its finest. I’m so proud and honored to be part of it. Getting shots in arms, educating the public, inspiring hope, and soaking in all the good vibes.

Night one at the NYS Fairgrounds COVID vaccination site. All day/all night. #VaccinateNY💪

1/ Are you a primary care provider? Please send letters to your patients documenting their chronic medical conditions. They may not even realize they're eligible for COVID vaccination.

Since March, I’ve provided nursing care in a Peds ED to children & families. Now I’m also administering vaccines in our community. It’s great to be part of the real solution.... like I’m moving from downstream to midstream interventions. Did I get that right @BrianCCastrucci ?

I’m grateful to be a nurse administering vaccines in Central New York at the Fairgrounds. Governor Cuomo, I think the Vaccinate NY logo is great! Any chance our team could get some long sleeve t-shirts with this logo to help spread the word? @NYGovCuomo

1. COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective. 2. After vaccination you still need to wear a mask, maintain distance, avoid crowds, and wash your hands. 3. Have hope... and patience. npr.org/sections/healt…

Same. 🙋🏻‍♀️

I'm thinking about universal health care and our national response to the pandemic. I'm convinced that our individualized view of health is what's fuels our spread of infectious diseases.
