Very excited that my book, The Imagination Gap, will be released in paperback on October 1. You can pre-order now. I'll be talking a lot more about it in the coming weeks - I assure you, it's still very much a critically important topic. amazon.com/Imagination-Ga…

Fun fact… when you stare out the window of a moving train while listening to music it feels like you are in the part when the movie fast forwards between plot points.

Ugly wins are still wins. #Seahawks

Maybe college football players should line up like hockey players and do handshakes at the end of a big game…

It’s (always) a great day to be a Michigan Wolverine. #GoBlue

Welp… I can’t seem to find a @hallmarkchannel holiday movie I haven’t seen already. That’s disappointing.

Thank you @citizenM (Capitol Hill) for the treats!

I'm starting to worry that people aren't using their imagination to think about all the things that might happen in the coming years. I wrote a book to help with this exact problem, so I thought it would be worth reposting: amazon.com/Imagination-Ga…

Even if/when he wins this fight, nobody should think for one second that Jake Paul is a good fighter. #TysonPaul

How are you spending your Friday afternoon/evening?

Who should President Trump nominate for his cabinet? Wrong answers only… Oh wait… nevermind.

Why are cable news channels seemingly opposed to keeping the names of guests on the screen at all times so you can know who is speaking? Only occasionally including identifying info in the chyron is not that helpful.

I understand why Trump’s message about fixing things resonated with the part of the American public that was frustrated with the status quo. Can someone explain to me why the really nasty comments and harsh policies that he voiced weren’t disqualifying to any of those voters?

Do people buy dogs that look like them, or over time do the dog and its owner start to look alike?

Good speech, @KamalaHarris I’ll still run through a wall for you. Just point me in the right direction…

A lot of things contributed to the outcome in this election. This was a campaign unlike any other. Maybe… we can determine what needs to be done next by taking a different approach than in past cycles. New thinking. New questions. New ideas. New way forward. Just a thought.

I don’t know what to say.

Happy Election Day to all who celebrate (which should be everyone). Time to vote. As for the rest of the day - do what you need to do: Stay hydrated. Call your friends. Eat your feelings. Go for a walk. Take a nap. Watch TV obsessively. This is it. Let’s go!

Looking for something calming (aka not news) to watch for the next couple of days until there are some results to analyze... settled on Criminal Minds.

I wonder if cable newsers ever wake up and say to themselves... "You know, I think we have said everything there is to say about this issue for the moment. Let's talk about something else until there is new information to report."

Nauseously Optimistic is a fun descriptor.
