Dr. @andrewlji found type 1 innate lymphoid cells (ILC1s) accumulate in sarcoidosis via the CXCL12/CXCR4 axis and could pose diagnostic significance. Blocking CXCR4 in mice reduced granuloma formation, suggesting a potential treatment. Link: bit.ly/48cssqc @EmmaGuttman
