Very unastute observation by a former leader in.yhw conservative movement. You don't have to like him or had voted for him to understand what happened.
Lots of reasons for the vote: Incumbents are unpopular! Biden had a low approval rating! Harris did this or didn't do that! Etc., etc. I don't quarrel with the analyses. But to understand is not to excuse. No excuse for the American people voting to make Trump president again.
How about talking about issues that matter to everyday Americans. I'd start there.
Democrats talk about issues they think you should care about. Republicans talk about issues you actually care about.
