I haven’t been paid for several claims I submitted in October from an insurance company. So when a therapist chooses not to accept insurance or doesn’t accept your insurance please don’t be mad at the therapist, be mad at the insurance company. They don't value therapists. 😐
It is getting very difficult to determine which MAGA fiasco is supposed to be a distraction from the other MAGA fiascos.
It'd be wild if Biden just goes HAM as President. He has nothing to lose and the Supreme Court just gave him so much power. Just champion and bum rush popular progressive policies. He's off to a good start with canceling student loan debt, proposing ending medical debt, etc.
Therapy can only do so much if you’re not able to get your basic needs met. Mental health is affordable housing. Mental health is free healthcare. Mental health is free education. Mental health is food security. Mental health is financial stability. Therapy can’t fix the system.

Absolutely not, and it's kinda dehumanizing for us in care professions. I've noticed the weaponization of our profession against us for expressing any range of emotion or perspective that doesn't fit how/what laypeople think a therapist "should" be. It's annoying.

How? How are they hurting anyone or being evil hearted?
It's the ones that follow you and don't comment/like anything you post you have to really be concerned about.

What's the name of the documentary?
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet or excite you.
That therapist should have done what she needed to do without announcing it, but nobody wants to say it.
In my opinion, happy people are the best parents. Self care is mandatory. I’m still in the process but actively trying to make space for things I enjoy again.
