Gotta love all that sunshine in October. Sure makes the dryer hum and propane bill a little easier to swallow.

It was great to spend a couple days in Ottawa with the @Soy_Canada board of directors. Trade promotion, market access, free trade agreements, innovation and investment in our growing sector all on the agenda. Canadian soybeans are in demand around the world.

Great board meeting and political outreach this week in Ottawa with @Soy_Canada Had a later flight so decided to head on down to Question Period with @crosbydevitt - let’s just say that is a “unique” experience…

Pleasure to join my friend @feedn4kids in #Brussels to discuss growing #Ontario’s agri-food, grain, & oilseed exports to the 🇪🇺. Ontario is a trusted, dependable supplier in an unstable world & 🇪🇺 customers know Ontario quality is world-class! @GrainFarmers #ONpoli #OntAg

And so the Marathon begins. Soybeans and wheat planting are more of a sprint, corn is more drawn out hence the reference to running a marathon. #corn #harvest2024

Replanting wheat in the drowned-out areas kinda looks like a doodle made by a 3 year old 🤷🏻

Well that’s a wrap for #soybean harvest 2024. Record early for our farm south of Hamilton. Great quality and awesome yields. 🙏🏻 Thanks to a great crew and for putting up with my random dinners and drinks. I guess it’s time to saddle up some 🌽 heads and fire up the dryer 🔥

Cutting with Dad. Good crop of tofu soybeans.
