Attended PyCon US for the fourth time, focusing on the importance of new Python packages for single-cell RNA-seq analysis. It was encouraging to see many developers interested in working with genomics data! Hope they will incorporate the feedbacks to improve the existing packages
At McGill University 3MT final today with the winners and other judges. The event was as exciting as it was two years ago. However, I experienced it from a different perspective this time - not as a competitor but as a judge switching positions from the front row to the back.

There’s a lot that goes behind the scenes in the life of someone with #Type1Diabetes - and most of the time it’s invisible. Finding people who “see” what is invisible to most is the essence of loved experience peer support and can drastically change your quality of life!
A busy life is not a symbol of status. It's a symptom of trying to do too much for too many people. A full calendar brings a surplus of stress and a shortage of energy. Reflecting and relaxing should be top priorities. Unscheduled time isn't wasted. It's invested in well-being.
