TikTok isn't misleading the youth, mainstream media is misleading the old.
btw TikTok isn’t making people pessimistic about the economy - it’s that traditional measures of economic progress aren’t always reflective of daily life. people can’t afford rent or homes, they’re striking over their working conditions, and that’s what the economy is to them.
I think what influencers don’t understand right now is no one is asking you to act as a journalistic news source. this issue isn’t so complicated that regular people can’t understand it. We’re not asking you to act as a news source. We’re asking you to act like a regular person.
