I was shocked to learn how dated the curriculum is. They are still teaching them McNaughten's rules and there is no mention of the Social Model of Disability in it. But it's the same everywhere. Look at the psychology curriculum. Stuck in 1930s.
Much later I realize how much I missed. Equally the curricula was dated. There was little on how law operated in India, no meaningful clinical courses & really little understanding of how society in which the law operates views law. On all these I’m still playing catch up (6/n)
