Fun fact: I worked at Denny’s when this menu came out. My dad’s whole career has been with this restaurant chain. The Hobbit Hole Breakfast was definitely the most popular item.

In my experience, most people who feel the need to self-identify this way typically make the most anti-Lewisian points imaginable. My guess is they don’t realize how antithetical their presuppositions (formed from chronological snobbery) are to Lewis’s medieval mind.
