We need a massive rethink on the prevailing attitudes around cycling. It needs to be anti social to be anti cycling. The climate depends on it, local pollution levels depend on it, children’s safety is depends on it.

Our council leader is trying to solve diabetes, hypertension & heart disease with a new cricket pitch on a nature reserve. 😂 He might like to know there’s one next door! Meanwhile, he can’t organise a single new cycling path, route or safety feature to truly improve health.

This is so unusual. That's a *huge* amount of energy being transferred to the atmosphere. Expect extreme temperature and storm records. Just the top few metres of our oceans store as much energy as the entirety of our atmosphere. I'm very concerned for later this year into 2024.

Nearly every day since then I’ve cycled, and nearly every day I am subjected to dangerous driving. Pollution, safety, climate - all neglected for another 2 years. I still find the resistance to it bizarre.
Two years ago today approx 1,250 people walked to Ealing Town Hall to demand removal of Ealing's LTNs, with campaigns citing pollution as as major concern. They were successful, but today, we don't hear concerns about traffic volumes road safety OR pollution from the organisers.

I think @_petermason and @deirdrecostigan should take heed of this when making future decisions about @WarrenFarmNR and active travel in the borough. Build a worthwhile legacy, not a career that harms our environment. 🙏
