We often introduce rules to “improve” safety and care pathways in health. But please think about the unintended consequences of the ever increasing directives. Educate don’t regulate. Trust clinicians and a little discretion is good for care.

This weekend I attended a fundraising event for @APEC_UK in Folkstone. Wow! Angelica Efu is one of our many dedicated supporters brave enough to take on the London marathon. Crucial activity for the success of our charity. Thank you, those “giving” and good luck to all running.

Study looking at affect of COVID-19 on over 8000 pregnant women found higher risk of stillbirth within 14 days of infection & raised Eclampsia rates. Big thank you to women attending Maternity in 2020/21 who helped @UHD be one of the top 3 contributers @UHDResearch
