I bought an old decoration film camera for $15, and yeah, it works after ~70 years. The esthetic, man. Camera: Voigtländer Vito BL, version with a BEWI light meter. Film stock: Kodak Pro Image 100.
I asked a friend to drive me to town, to see my barber, for the first time since my surgeries and them cutting my beard in the hospital. I felt like a human boy again, not some weak recovering surgery patient. Thank you for all the kind thoughts since this all started.
Health update: I'm able to take a walk outside the house now. Recovery is slow, my body haaaated the two week hospital stay spent mostly laying in bed, so there's lots of residual aching and hurting now that I'm up some more. This little fren helps me walk, though.
Health update: I'm finally out of the hospital after two weeks and two surgeries. Had my first post-op checkup today, doc says I am healing well. I'm focusing all my energy on rest and recovery. It's harder to move, talk and even breathe, since I'm off the drugs, haha.
Health update: They've shaved my beard off, oh noez! Now seriously: I've had two surgeries, spent 5-6 days under Intensive Care, had some rough days and nights. And now, I am moved to a normal hospital room, to start my long recovery under their watch. ICU tired selfie wooo
Felt good today, so I biked for a bit, to feel more vital. You can see where some of my art sensibility is coming from. Simple furtile pleins vistas be simple. 🇷🇸
