It's hard to say what it feels like when the MH services have decided you're a lost cause. No community team, no crisis team, no psych liaison appointments, nothing to engage with, no number to call. No choice, no power, nothing to refuse or accept. Nothing. On your own.
When staff in relative positions of power within MH services begin to experience outrage that people are being harmed within their services instead of actively fostering a culture of deniability and self-preservation, this is when true accountability and justice will take place.
Seeking help for your mental health should not be like playing Russian roulette. Sadly, that is often the case. Qualified does not always mean competent, nor does it guarantee professionalism or integrity.
#TEWV policies have directly resulted in the loss of several lives over recent years. Ingrained TEWV working practices and a culture that promotes negligence and abuse will continue to harm and will continue to cost lives.
Her own health has suffered as a direct consequent of TEWV failings and injustices. I honestly don't know how many more deaths its going to take for some serious reflection and action to take place @TEWV
