#ThrowbackThursday to the first two K-MAX Helicopters arriving at #MCASYuma. In May 2016 the Marine Corps’ first two Kaman K-MAX Helicopters arrived at MCAS Yuma. The K-MAX is a single crew helicopter with intermeshing rotors (synchropter) and has a maximum speed of 115mph.

The “Black Widows” of MALS 13 take over this #SquadronSaturday! #Marines conduct routine maintenance and inspections on their gear and equipment aboard #MCASYuma. MALS-13 mission is to provide aviation support, guidance, and direction to the Marine Aircraft Group Squadrons.

#FridayFace Cpl Reid Ellis is a MV-22 tiltrotor mechanic with VMX 1, who conducts routine routine maintenance on the MV-22 on #MCASYuma. Cpl Ellis’s duty is to keep the MV-22 operating at optimal performance levels by inspecting, maintaining, testing and repairing the aircraft.

Some easy ways to protect yourself and others is to shop safely. One way to do that is to wipe down carts with disinfectant and wear masks Remember when shopping service members are only allowed to go into establishments that require both employees and patrons to wear masks.
