Alright I'll say it. A LOT of liberals, leftist and even communists on this app have given up on unlearning their racism before they were even half way through, and think that their INTENTIONS define whether their words or actions are racist or not.
Girls don’t enter trades like boys do because the working conditions almost guarantee a lifetime of sexual harassment and sexism, not because they’re too weak to learn carpentry.
thinking about how Chicago has the most lead pipes in the country and kids are being poisoned (lead causes chronic disease in addition to neurological/behavioral issues) and they can't afford to replace them because their annual public health budget is what cops get every 16 days
Idk who needs to hear this but people who organize IRL are often told not to post about what they’re doing online, or to only post in a limited and vague way. You don’t know what people do off the internet and that’s on purpose.
Week of 11/17 in Virgo: You have a good plan. So follow it. You may need help with some parts of it. Ask for what you need.
I am so happy to see the ppl in the U.S. cheering on our Māori relatives in New Zealand and pls continue while also realizing y’all have Indigenous rights ppl here where you live fighting the same fight. We may not have haka, but our fight is the same.
I wish people could still see my likes so they would know how good my sense of humor is and how correct the opinions I agree with are
The moment that gives all Indigenous people chills. Power to our Māori brothers and sisters of Aotearoa always. ✊🏽

In case anyone ever wonders, it’s disabled people FIRST, everyone else second. When we put disabled people of every stripe FIRST, *literally* everyone wins. The Black Panthers were revolutionary in every way, but this was most important: disabled people first.
How it feels to be in Mā’ohi Nui, watching the hīkoi and every video of Māori resistance right now 🖤🤍❤️
GRIEVING OUT LOUD FEELS SO GOOD LIKE YES I LOVED AND LOST YES I HAD THE AUDACITY TO OPEN MY HEART YES I HAD THE PRIVILEGE TO LOSE SOMETHING SPECIAL AND IMPORTANT TO ME IT EXPANDED MY HEART AND NOTHING WILL EVER BE THE SAME AGAIN
Unfortunately, my politics are rooted in a deep love for humanity and the exhausting belief that a better world is possible
best thing about being a teacher is that 3:46pm on a Thursday is actually a Friday
Love when I find out a deeply unserious friend is also very insightful and genuine
“I never talked shit about you on the internet” is something that would not hold up well for me in court
Week of 11/10 in Virgo: Some plans light now. Some ways into the new findings of dreams. You can see its raining hold on you. You can feel it hold you.
this meeting couldve been a kiss on the lips
guy at the bus stop who sees me in a tshirt when it’s 45° out: no jacket today? me: I’m from Chicago him: I get it now
